What is an Escape Room?
Escaped In Time is a live-action team-based activity where players discover clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish tasks in one or more rooms in order to accomplish a specific goal (usually escaping from the room) in a limited amount of time.
How do I book a room?

Are Reservations required?
Advanced reservations are required, and the window to make a reservation closes one hour prior to the booking time. We do this to ensure you have the best experience possible as we staff our rooms based on availability.

How early should I arrive?
We strongly recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled reservation time. Your experience starts exactly at the scheduled time of your reservation, and being late might cause you to have less time to complete the challenges.
Are the doors really locked?
Yes they are. You and your party will be in a room with a locked door. However, each room is set with an emergency code and/or physical key to unlock the door in case you need to exit. You are welcome to exit the room anytime you feel the need to.
Also each room is being monitored very closely by video cameras and microphones, and the GameMaster has the ability to be in the room within seconds if need be.
How many people can be in a room?
The rooms are designed for small groups consisting of 2-8 people. We do have one room that is limited to 6 people. The minimum for all rooms is 2 people with a maximum of 8 people (or 6 people if you reserve the 6 person room).
What if we don’t have enough people in our group to fill the room?
That is completely fine. All experiences are created as a “Private Experience”, only for your group. There can be as little as two players in the room, up to six or eight.
What if we I don’t want to pay for everyone in my group?
Can my friends all pay for themselves?
Yes, however you will need to contact us prior to booking your experience. As all experiences are created as a “Private Experience”, after the first booking is made, all the remaining spots are locked out. We will need to do some custom work to allow others to book and pay individually. Please contact us for assistance.
Is there a minimum number of people ?
Technically, no. We can run the experience with one person in the room. However, the rooms are very difficult for one person to try on their own and in some cases, some of the puzzles require two people to complete them. You will need team work, good communication, observation, and good cognitive reasoning skills. Going solo would be very tough but not impossible. Having at least 2 or more people working the puzzles is strongly recommended.
Is there an age limit?
There is no age limit to experience the rooms. All rooms are designed to be family friendly and have all members participate. We recommend that participants be at least eight years old in order to contribute to the experience.
How long is each experience?
You should plan on being in our facility approximately 90-120 minutes. We have one 90 minute experience and two 60 minute experiences. Please plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to prepare and get briefed on your experience. Afterwards, also plan another 15 minutes for a debriefing and photo opportunities.
What if we get stuck? Are there hints available?
Yes, the GameMaster can provide a hint for you and your party, if requested. We offer up to three “free” clues. However, there is a consequence for requesting more than three. You will be “charged” a three minute time penalty per extra hint. However, our main goal is that you have fun. If you need additional assistance, we would be happy to help.
Can we extend our time if we need more time?
Unfortunately not. The experience is designed to be fair and the same length for everyone, plus usually there is another group right behind you to begin their experience.
Can you accommodate a large group or a corporate event?
Yes we can. Please contact us to help you book a larger than 8 person party or corporate event group.
Can you accommodate a special event we are celebrating?
Yes we can. We can accommodate birthdays, bachelors/bachelorettes parties, engagements, etc. Please contact us if you have an event you would like us to participate in with you. If you have a gift or something special to bring with you, we can even incorporate the gift or surprise into the experience.
How much does the experience cost?
The cost is $30 per person for our 60 minute experiences, and $40 per person for our 90 minute experience. Occasional discounts become available. Visit our main page to see if there are any current discounts available.
Can I cancel my reservation?
In order to receive a refund, cancellations must be received no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled reservation time. All cancellations must be done by contacting us directly. Cancellations made less than 24 hours cannot be refunded, but we would be happy to reschedule your experience for another date and time. Cancellations are subject to a 3% fee of the total amount. Please allow up to 3-5 business days for refund processing to occur.
