What is an Escape Room?
Escaped In Time is a live-action team-based activity where players discover clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish tasks in one or more rooms in order to accomplish a specific goal (usually escaping from the room) in a limited amount of time.

How do I book a room?
Click here To Book Now to make your reservation online.  We do all of our reservations on our secure website to ensue your credit card information is safe and secure.
 
Are Reservations required?
Advanced reservations are required, and the window to make a reservation closes one hour prior to the booking time. We do this to ensure you have the best experience possible as we staff our rooms based on availability.

How early should I arrive?
We strongly recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled reservation time.  Your experience starts exactly at the scheduled time of your reservation and being late might cause you to have less than 60 minutes to complete the challenges. 

Are the doors really locked?
Yes they are.  You and your party will be in a room with a locked door.  However, each room is set with an emergency code and/or physical key to unlock the door in case you need to exit.  You are welcome to exit the room anytime you feel the need to. 

Also each room is being monitored by video cameras and the GameMaster has the ability to be in the room within seconds if need be.

How many people can be in a room?
The rooms are designed for small groups consisting of 2-8 people.  The minimum for all rooms is 2 people with a maximum of 8 people.  

What if we don’t have enough people in our group to fill the room?
That is completely fine.  We sell each reservation like tickets to a show.  If only four people sign up for the reservation, and there is another group of four people wanting that same time slot, they may also make a reservation at the same time.  So you may be playing with strangers.  We have found that this sometimes helps.  Your friends tend to think like you do, that is why they are your friends.  Strangers can sometimes bring a different perspective.  Who knows, maybe you will make a new friend or two.  🙂

What if we don’t want to do the experience with others?
The best way to ensure that you will not be going through the experience with others is to purchase all the tickets available for your reservation time slot.  We do offer an option while making you reservation to make it a private experience.
   
Is there a minimum number of people ?
Technically, no.  We can run the experience with one person in the room.  However, the rooms are very difficult for one person to try on their own.  You will need team work, good communication, observation, and good cognitive reasoning skills.  Going solo would be very tough but not impossible.  Having at least 2 or more people working the puzzles is strongly recommended.

Is there an age limit?
There is no age limit to experience the rooms.  All rooms are designed to be family friendly and have all members participate.  We recommend that participants be at least eight years old, in order to contribute to the experience.  

How long is each experience?
You should plan on being in our facility approximately 90 minutes.  Each experience is scheduled for 60 minutes but you should plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to prepare and get briefed on your experience.  Afterwards, also plan another 15 minutes for a debriefing and photo opportunities. 

What if we get stuck?  Are there hints available?
Yes, the GameMaster can provide a hint for you and your party, if requested.  We offer up to three “free” clues.  However, there is a consequence for requesting more than three. You will be “charged” a three minute time penalty per extra hint.  However, our main goal is that you have fun.  If you need additional assistance, we would be happy to help.

Can we extend our time if we need more time?
Unfortunately not.  The experience is designed to be fair and the same length for everyone, plus usually there is another group right behind you to begin their experience.

Can you accommodate a large group or a corporate event?
Yes we can.  Please contact us to help you book a larger than 8 person party or corporate event group. 

Can you accommodate a special event we are celebrating?
Yes we can.  We can accommodate birthdays, bachelors/bachelorettes parties, engagements, etc. 
Please contact us if you have an event you would like us to participate in with you.  We can even incorporate the gift or surprise into the experience. 

How much does the experience cost?
Each experience is $30 per person.  Occasional discounts become available.  Visit our main page to see if there are any current discounts available.

Can I cancel my reservation?
In order to receive a full refund, cancellations must be received no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled reservation time.  All cancellations must be done by contacting us directly.  Cancellations made less than 24 hours cannot be refunded, but we would be happy to reschedule your experience for another date and time.  Please allow up to 7-14 days for refund processing to occur.
